Measuring Co-Contraction using sEMG
Collaborating with the University of Aveiro, Portugal, PhD student Marlene Rosa is using sEMG to measure co-contraction in hemiplegic gait following stroke. This work is defining key factors that contribute to co-contraction. The team have adapted laboratory-based data collection methods to a clinical environment.
